TOMOKO GRAHAM
Preceptor in Japanese
Tomoko Graham has extensive experience teaching Japanese, including at MIT, Yale, UMass Amherst, Middlebury College, and the Noble and Greenough School, and she has been actively involved in the local Japanese teaching community. Nationally, she has presented numerous papers on such topics as blended learning and community-of-inquiry-based online language learning and served on the AP Japanese Curriculum Development Committee. Professor Graham was awarded the 2017 National Teacher Award by the American Association of Teachers of Japanese. She received her B.A. from Nanzan University and M.S. in TESOL from the State University of New York, Albany. She currently teaches JAPAN 130ab “Intermediate Japanese II” at Harvard.
